On Saturday, August 29, 2026, Sahara Home Care was proud to join the Bolingbrook community for the Taste of Pakistan – Pakistan Day celebration, a vibrant event honoring Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day and celebrating Pakistani culture, heritage, and community.
Hosted by the Association of Pakistani Americans (APA) Bolingbrook, the event took place at the Roger C. Claar Performing Arts Center in Bolingbrook and brought together families and community members for an exciting day filled with cultural performances, live entertainment, delicious food, shopping, and activities for the entire family.

Our team also hosted a Sahara Home Care booth at the event, giving us the opportunity to meet community members, connect with local families, and share information about the services and support available through Sahara Home Care.

Honored with an Award for Community Support
One of the most memorable moments of the celebration was Sahara Home Care being presented with an Award for Community Support.
We are deeply grateful to the Association of Pakistani Americans Bolingbrook for this recognition. Supporting the communities we serve has always been an important part of Sahara Home Care’s mission, and receiving this award makes us even more committed to continuing that work.

Celebrating Pakistan’s Culture and Heritage
Taste of Pakistan was a wonderful showcase of the traditions, culture, and spirit of the Pakistani community. The celebration featured cultural performances, food vendors, a shopping bazaar, family activities, and live entertainment, including a concert by Ahmed Jahanzeb.
Sahara Home Care was proud to celebrate alongside the many families, organizations, businesses, volunteers, and community leaders who helped make the event possible.
